Touch Blue

Years ago, a chance encounter left Junya with a single memento: Kyouichi’s handkerchief. Now, fate has brought them together again under entirely unexpected circumstances. Following the marriage of their parents, the two young men find themselves living beneath the same roof as stepbrothers. Junya still carries the handkerchief and longs to return it, yet he is plagued by uncertainty. He does not know if Kyouichi even remembers him or the significant night they first met, leaving Junya hesitant to bridge the gap between their shared past and their new family dynamic. Complicating matters further, Junya begins experiencing sudden, unusual bouts of physical pain. With no one else to turn to, Kyouichi becomes the only person he can rely on for comfort during these episodes. As his new stepbrother steps in to help, Junya is forced to confront his own hidden feelings. He begins to question whether these mysterious ailments are truly genuine or merely an unconscious excuse—a desperate way to seek out Kyouichi’s touch and closeness. Caught between lingering memories and a complicated new reality, Junya must navigate the fragile boundary between familial obligation and unspoken desire.
