Jeongha has long struggled with fragile health, living a quiet and restricted life. Her routine is unexpectedly disrupted when her mother-in-law introduces a new maid named Hyeon into the household. Twelve years Jeongha’s junior, Hyeon immediately captures her attention. Intrigued by the younger woman's presence, Jeongha makes the impulsive decision to offer Hyeon a private room and begins taking a personal interest in her well-being, stepping far beyond the boundaries of a typical employer and servant dynamic. Though their early interactions are marked by palpable tension, Hyeon gradually finds herself experiencing unfamiliar emotions. Despite maintaining a cold and distant demeanor, Jeongha continues to care for her with quiet persistence. This unexpected devotion slowly breaks through Hyeon's defenses, leaving her confused by the growing attachment she feels toward the older woman. What began as a simple arrangement born from Jeongha's sudden whim now evolves into something far more complex. As their bond deepens beneath the surface of polite distance, both women must navigate the shifting nature of their connection, raising the question of where this delicate and unconventional relationship will ultimately lead.
