Higan no Orca

In a Japan where the rapid proliferation of social media has triggered a devastating surge in suicide rates, a specialized organization known as Marlin Trout was established with a single, urgent mission: to intervene and save lives. Operating on the front lines of this crisis is an unlikely pair of operatives whose dynamic defies conventional expectations. Wakame, a somewhat scatterbrained staff member, frequently finds himself at the mercy of his abrasive and uncooperative partner, Umi, who constantly pushes him around during their demanding assignments. Despite their clashing personalities and the daily friction between them, Wakame and Umi stand as the organization's most formidable team, holding an unmatched record of successful interventions. Their professional excellence, however, masks a deeply personal complexity. Beneath their impressive statistics lies a shared history that binds them together—a mysterious past that shapes their turbulent partnership and raises questions about the true nature of their connection as they continue to fight against the rising tide of despair.
