During their elementary school years, Koyuri made a painful choice that she has regretted ever since. Driven by the intense jealousy of other girls, she pushed away her childhood friend, Hoshiichi, severing the close bond they once shared. For years, the weight of that decision lingered over her, leaving her to wonder if the distance between them could ever truly be bridged. Now in high school, fate intervenes when Koyuri and Hoshiichi are placed in the same class. Initially uncertain about how to approach him after so much time apart, Koyuri soon discovers that the warmth she felt for him never faded.
