Schrödin Girl

In the one-shot "Schrödin Girl," Neji finds herself entangled in a web of her own making after telling a casual lie to her classmate, Yushima. During an ordinary conversation, Neji claims that she owns a pet cat, a fabricated detail intended perhaps to impress or simply connect with her peer. However, this small deception quickly escalates when Yushima expresses genuine enthusiasm and asks to visit Neji’s home specifically to see the nonexistent feline. Rather than admitting the truth and facing the embarrassment of being caught in a falsehood, Neji chooses to double down on her lie. She formally invites Yushima over, setting the stage for an increasingly tense situation. As the planned visit approaches, Neji is forced to confront the mounting pressure of her dishonesty, scrambling to figure out how she will present a cat she does not actually have. The story centers on this relatable social dilemma, exploring the comedic anxiety of maintaining a harmless but rapidly spiraling fabrication within the familiar setting of their school life and Neji's home.
