Dawning Light

Set in the near future, a rare subset of individuals known as Alphas are born with extraordinary abilities, earning them the title of the Awakened. Among them is Diego, a man who possesses the potential to be one of the most powerful of his kind. However, this immense strength comes at a devastating cost. Every time he channels his abilities, his body rebels against him, triggering violent and debilitating seizures that leave him vulnerable. His existence is defined by this cruel paradox—wielding incredible power while being imprisoned by his own physical limitations. Everything shifts when Diego encounters Shane, a reserved scientist who proposes a solution to his suffering by offering to develop a specialized stabilizer. As they work together, Diego finds himself drawn to Shane by an intense and inexplicable attraction that defies logic. This connection soon awakens deeply buried memories within Diego, forcing him to confront unsettling questions about their shared history. He begins to wonder whether their encounter was merely a twist of fate or the dawn of something far greater—a bond that reaches beyond the boundaries of time itself.
