In the year 0079 of the Universal Century timeline, the Earth Federation continues its campaign to liberate Earth from the Principality of Zeon's control. Following the success of Operation Odessa, the Earth Federation Ground Force leads a series of military operations to track down and eliminate Zeon forces in various parts of the planet. Ensign Shiro Amada is appointed leader of the 08th MS Team, an elite unit of Ground Type Gundams, with a mission to engage and distract Zeon forces while uncovering the existence of a new and mysterious Zeon mobile suit. However, as Ensign Amada navigates the complexities of his mission, he finds himself torn between his duty and his growing emotions for Aina Sahalin, a Zeon pilot with her own motivations and loyalties.
