Ame ni Niteiru

Ame ni Niteiru is a manga anthology comprising two distinct one-shot stories, each exploring deeply emotional themes through different narrative lenses. The title story presents a beautifully crafted shounen-ai romance that balances contrasting tones with delicate precision. It follows a relationship defined by an outward sense of cheerfulness and warmth, yet underscored by a profound, lingering sadness. This duality shapes the emotional core of the narrative, creating a poignant experience where joy and sorrow intertwine seamlessly within the bond shared by its characters. The second story, titled And My Heart Becomes Warm, shifts focus to a compelling and dramatic premise centered around a young boy confronting a terrifying family legacy. He lives under the shadow of what appears to be a generational curse afflicting his bloodline—a dark fate in which every male member of his family dies at a tragically young age. As he navigates daily life burdened by this ominous inheritance, the narrative explores his internal struggles and the weight of an uncertain future. Together, these two standalone tales offer readers a rich exploration of love, mortality, and the fragile nature of human connection.
