Kengo Yoshida, a skilled and formidable student at Takami Middle School, had a reputation for being able to hold his own in a fight. His exceptional abilities were on full display when he effortlessly defeated a high school student who had attempted to mug his best friend, Mamoru, and then proceeded to steal the victim's money. The high school student's older brother, a yakuza, sought revenge, but Kengo's prowess was unmatched, and he ended up leaving the yakuza severely battered. When the yakuza boss encountered Kengo on the street, he was impressed by Kengo's strength and offered him a place in the gang, but Kengo laughed off the offer and refused. The yakuza, determined to teach Kengo a lesson, brutally attacked him and threw him into the sea, but miraculously, Kengo managed to survive. Seeking revenge, Kengo then attacked the yakuza's office with a backhoe, a daring stunt that left the gang reeling. Feeling he could no longer stay in Nagoya, Kengo followed Mamoru to Tokyo, leaving behind a trail of chaos and destruction.
