Like a Sugar

Like a Sugar is a high school romance manga that begins with a chance encounter between Yoshimura, a student with a sweet tooth, and Shima, a third-year student with a fearsome reputation. Yoshimura, unaware of Shima's intimidating image, is shocked to discover that the student's scary eyes are actually a result of a love for sweets, rather than a sinister intent. As they bond over their shared hobby of baking, Yoshimura finds himself growing closer to Shima, who proves to be a kind and gentle soul beneath his tough exterior. As their friendship deepens, Yoshimura and Shima start to share homemade sweets with each other every day, and their relationship blossoms into a sweet high school romance. However, things take a sudden turn when Yoshimura accidentally kisses Shima while teaching him how to bake. This unexpected development adds a new layer of complexity to their relationship, forcing them to navigate the challenges of their feelings for each other. Through their shared passion for baking, Yoshimura and Shima must confront their own fears and insecurities as they explore the ups and downs of high school life. Their relationship is put to the test as they learn to balance their differences and find a way to make their love work, all while navigating the complexities of high school social dynamics.
