The Old Prisoner Living in Solitude

Within the nightmarish confines of the Karaisman prison known as Solitude, trillions of inmates endure unimaginably brutal conditions. Among them is Argel Lastos, a blind man who has somehow survived for decades as one of the facility's very first captives. In a place defined by relentless cruelty, his enduring presence stands as an anomaly, marking him as a seasoned survivor in a world where most are quickly broken. Now, the aging prisoner has taken on a new purpose: protecting and mentoring a young child named Cero. Recognizing the boy’s raw, unrealized potential, Argel is determined to forge that latent talent into a fearsome power. Together, they must navigate the constant dangers of their environment, defending their allies against the desperate and violent inmates who surround them at every turn. Yet beneath this protective mentorship lies an unsettling ambiguity. As the old man guides the child through the horrors of Solitude, questions linger about his true intentions. Is Argel genuinely working to save Cero from the prison's merciless grasp, or does his dedication serve a far more sinister and hidden purpose?
