El Hazard - The Magnificent World

Makoto Mizuhara is a genuinely kind-hearted student beloved by everyone at Shinonome High School, a fact that deeply frustrates his arrogant class president, Jinnai. Their rivalry takes an extraordinary turn when Makoto encounters a mysterious woman hidden within the school and is suddenly transported to the fantastical realm of El-Hazard. He is not alone in this unexpected journey; Jinnai, his sister Nanami, and their teacher Masamichi Fujisawa are all swept into this strange new world alongside him. Upon arrival, the group quickly divides along familiar lines. Makoto and his companions forge alliances with the royal family of Roshtaria and the Muldoon Priestesses, while Jinnai pledges his loyalty to the seductive Deva, queen of the insectoid Bugrom Empire. As they adapt to their surroundings, the former Earthlings discover that the environment has awakened bizarre supernatural abilities within them. With the survival of Roshtaria and the entirety of El-Hazard hanging in the balance, three rival factions now race to claim control over the most terrifying weapon ever forged: the Demon-Goddess Ifurita.
