Fuyu no Hashikko

Amid the constant turmoil of their parents' bitter quarrels, twins Kaito and Miho find themselves navigating a household fractured by hostility. The relentless arguments create an environment devoid of comfort, leaving the siblings to cope with the emotional fallout of a home that offers neither peace nor stability. As the adults remain consumed by their own discord, the children are forced to confront the harsh reality of their domestic life entirely on their own. In the absence of parental guidance and affection, Kaito and Miho turn inward, relying solely on one another to endure the suffocating atmosphere. Bound by their shared blood and the quiet desperation of their circumstances, the twins yearn for each other's warmth as a refuge from the coldness that surrounds them. Their connection becomes a vital lifeline, offering the only semblance of solace in a world defined by conflict. This poignant one-shot explores the fragile yet resilient bond between two siblings who must find strength in each other when the very foundation of their family crumbles around them.
