Hiraeth

Set against the backdrop of an age defined by widespread suffering, Hiraeth follows Jael, a seasoned warrior belonging to the legendary Druzhniik order of monster hunters. His latest contract tasks him with escorting Lauren, a spirited and mischievous young companion, across treacherous lands to the isolated city of Bearmham. What begins as a straightforward journey quickly unravels upon their arrival when Jael becomes entangled in the intricate schemes of Muirenn, a powerful elven sorceress from another world. Drawn into a web far more dangerous than any standard hunt, Jael realizes that unlocking the hidden truths of his own past is the only way to shatter an ancient curse threatening to consume the world entirely. Bound together by circumstance and necessity, he and Lauren are thrust onto an arduous quest that forces them to confront terrifying adversaries on all sides. From monstrous entities lurking in the shadows to ruthless human factions driven by their own ambitions, the pair must navigate a fractured landscape where danger wears many faces. Hiraeth is serialized on Manga Plus Creators by Shueisha and was featured on MangaPlus as part of the Monthly Manga Awards by Manga Plus Creators by Shueisha, earning the Silver Award in November 2025.
