Watch Out for Watarase

Nonoka has just moved to the bustling city to begin her university studies, expecting a quiet and predictable living arrangement at her older brother’s apartment. Her brother, an aspiring comedian, was supposed to be her sole housemate as she settled into her new life. However, upon arriving at his home, she is immediately caught off guard by an unexpected resident: Watarase, her brother’s comedy partner. Far from being an ordinary roommate, Watarase is widely known throughout the entertainment industry as a notoriously shameless playboy who has already made a name for himself on stage. To make matters worse, Watarase is a relentless charmer with absolutely no concept of personal boundaries. His flirtatious nature and constant physical proximity leave Nonoka deeply unsettled, and she resolves to keep him at a safe distance. Yet, despite her firm determination to avoid his advances, sharing a roof with the comedy world’s most infamous heartthrob proves far more complicated than she anticipated. As their daily lives intertwine under the same roof, Nonoka finds herself trapped in a frustrating dilemma—knowing full well that falling for someone like Watarase is a terrible idea, yet discovering that resisting his effortless allure might be entirely impossible.
