Deadman Wonderland

Ganta Igarashi, a young boy wrongly convicted of a heinous crime, is sentenced to Deadman Wonderland, a privately operated prison where inmates are forced to participate in a twisted game of survival, serving as the main attractions in a modern-day spectacle reminiscent of ancient gladiatorial coliseums. Upon arrival, Ganta discovers that the prison's true purpose is not only punishment, but also a twisted form of entertainment for the visitors who pay to witness the brutal battles between prisoners and the terrifying creatures known as "Memories Eaters." As Ganta navigates this nightmarish world, he develops a special power that sets him apart from the others, and becomes embroiled in a complex web of conspiracy and intrigue.
