Shikigami no Shiro

In July 2005, a wave of baffling homicides strikes the sweltering city of Tokyo. Every victim is a woman, and the cause of death in each case is a traumatic shock. Given the abnormal nature of these incidents, investigators suspect an occult connection. To determine their next steps, the Metropolitan Police Department decides to enlist the assistance of influential figures from the occult underworld. On July 21st, the department officially classifies the case as Specific Crime No. 568.
