Summary
Official Details
Prince Ludwig, affectionately known as Louis to the common folk, is a strikingly beautiful young man with a notoriously difficult personality. When his father, the King, decrees that he must find a bride, Louis reluctantly embarks on a quest through a fantastical world inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tales. Accompanied by his loyal servant, the prince searches for the perfect princess—one who meets his exacting standards of beauty and comes without any troublesome family curses or hidden complications. Blending dark fantasy, satire, and twisted folklore, this series reimagines classic tales through the lens of an anti-heroic protagonist. As Ludwig navigates enchanted forests and cursed kingdoms, each encounter challenges both his selfish desires and the traditional narratives of love and royalty. A unique manga that subverts expectations while exploring themes of identity, duty, and the complexities of human connection within a beautifully macabre setting.
