Inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s 1961 masterpiece *Yojimbo*, the story follows Kodama, a sharp and capable drifter who arrives in the small town of Kimujuku to investigate an incident that took place there more than fifteen years ago. His presence soon makes the local residents uneasy, and before long, Kodama finds himself entangled in a violent turf war between rival gangs vying for control of the town. As gunfire erupts and shifting loyalties breed betrayal, Kodama must navigate the bloodshed while searching for answers to his mystery—though each step brings him closer to a grave of his own making.
