Following a modified resolution to the Choubimaru incident, the penalties for those involved are meted out, alongside a surprise marriage proposal from Misao to Mashisu. The proposal nearly falls through until Mihoshi and Misao's mother, Mitoto, intervenes and grants her family's blessing—much to the chagrin of former G.P. Marshall Minami Kuramitsu. Aside from these upheavals, daily life resumes its normal rhythm for the Masaki household.
