Since childhood, Akira had dreamed of becoming a rugby player. Growing up on a small island with no other children around, however, made learning the sport nearly impossible. Determined to find a way to contribute to a team, he devoted himself to the one skill he could hone in solitude: kicking. Now, as he prepares to enter high school, Akira is ready to chase his long-held ambitions—not only to play rugby but also to finally build the friendships he has always wanted.
