Saki is a dedicated editor at a women’s fashion magazine who, after seven years of hard work, is poised to become the next associate editor. Despite her polished professional image, she is secretly an otaku whose romantic interests are strictly limited to fictional characters. Her career takes an unexpected turn when her promotion comes with a transfer to a men’s fashion publication. Concerned about her lack of real-world experience, a colleague encourages her to attend a mixer to become more comfortable around actual men. There, she meets Ryou, a handsome stranger who bears a striking resemblance to the prince from her favorite manga. Although he initially appears gentle and refined, their encounter quickly escalates into a passionate night that only reinforces Saki’s cynical view of real-life men. Her world is upended when she arrives at her new job and discovers that the man she spent the night with is now her coworker.
