Hitoshi Kobe is a socially awkward and unathletic high school student who excels only in creating artificial intelligence programs on his computer. His magnum opus is AI program number 30, a highly advanced simulation that eerily captures the essence of human conversation with a female. One fateful dark and stormy night, a freak lightning strike brings this program to life, causing number 30 to emerge from the screen as a real girl, forever altering Hitoshi's life and sending him into a whirlwind of chaos and confusion.
