Elemental Gelade

Following a routine raid, rookie sky pirate Coud discovers an extraordinary piece of cargo hidden in his crew’s hold: Ren, an Edel Reid. This rare race is highly sought after by humans for their unique ability to grant enhanced combat abilities to their partners through a process known as Reacting. Coud soon learns that Ren is far more valuable than he initially realized when three agents from Arc Aire, the Edel Reid Complete Protection Agency, arrive aboard the ship attempting to purchase her. After Coud refuses their offer, the vessel comes under sudden attack by an unknown force, prompting the captain to entrust him with the critical mission of protecting Ren.
