At the beginning of the series, the Mizuho basketball team faces a crisis: they lack enough players to field a full squad, and their coach has resigned following a dispute with Fujiwara. The situation changes when Aikawa transfers to the school, bringing with him an infectious passion for basketball that rekindles the remaining members' sense of purpose. Although the roster consists of only five players with no substitutes, they s쳮d in persuading the girls' team coach to take charge. While she initially appears stern, she gradually reveals a deep devotion to her "Dear Boys." United by this bond, the team strives together to turn their aspirations into reality.
