Team Medical Dragon

Dr. Katou is an ambitious physician determined to reform Japan’s corrupt and inefficient medical system from within by securing a professorship at a prestigious teaching hospital. To achieve this, she recruits Dr. Asada Ryuutarou, a brilliant but unconventional surgeon, to collaborate on groundbreaking research that could guarantee her academic advancement. However, Asada’s steadfast refusal to conform to institutional politics soon jeopardizes not only her career trajectory but also her professional reputation. While Katou is initially willing to compromise her principles to navigate the existing hierarchy, Asada’s uncompromising integrity forces her to confront the system’s deep-seated flaws and question whether her pursuit of power has come at too great a cost.
