Thirteen years after vanishing without a trace, the alien race known as the Heterodyne suddenly reappears. In response, three office employees of the 21st Century Security Corporation are tasked with piloting Dai-Guard—a colossal robot that has finally shed its reputation as nothing more than an oversized ornament. However, the machine is now outdated and poorly maintained. It is a difficult assignment, yet even salaried workers have what it takes to be heroes.
