Platinum Snow

This collection of one-shots from manga creator Kawahara Kazune opens with *Platinum Snow*. Classmates Takae and Emiko are spending their winter break together at a ski lodge. Takae had hoped for a quiet retreat to mend her broken heart, but her plans are upended when she discovers that Ono—the boy who turned her down—is also staying at the lodge with his friends. Meanwhile, Emiko unexpectedly runs into Nao, her childhood friend and longtime crush, only to wonder if the girl by his side is his girlfriend. Over the course of a week, the four of them navigate an increasingly tangled web of emotions. The second tale, *Majo no Goyoujin*, follows Hoshino Miharu and Mori Kayo, now high school classmates and close friends. Back in middle school, Miharu inadvertently ended up dating the boy Kayo had feelings for, and though Miharu insisted it was an accident without any ill intent, Kayo chose to forgive her. Now that Kayo has confessed her new crush on Sanada to Miharu, she cannot help but fear whether the past is destined to repeat itself.
