Knights of Sidonia

Thousands of years have passed since the Gauna annihilated the Solar System. Now, the massive generation ship Sidonia drifts through the void of space, sustaining humanity through controlled propagation and reproduction. Raised in the vessel’s lowest decks, young Tanikaze Nagate enrolls as a Guardian trainee and is granted permission to pilot the Tsugumori—an antiquated unit of silver armor, yet one steeped in historical renown. As Nagate takes the helm, he places his very life on the line for the sake of his species’ continued existence. This work received the 39th Kodansha Manga Award in the general category.
