Lupin the 3rd Episode 0: The First Contact

First Contact unfolds the origin story of the Lupin gang. In this nostalgic trip to the past, Lupin sets his sights on the most prized possession of American mafia boss Galvez—a treasure hidden within another treasure. Jigen, serving as Galvez's hired marksman, fails to eliminate the cat-burglar Lupin during his first attempt at the prize and becomes driven by a thirst for retribution. Fujiko appears as the girlfriend of Lupin's rival, Brad, while Zenigata journeys from Japan to America in pursuit of her. Meanwhile, Goemon is on his own quest for the legendary blade capable of cutting through steel—the Zantetsuken—which is mysteriously tied to the treasure locked in Galvez's vault. Through a chain of unexpected twists and turns, these complete strangers cross paths and become acquainted, embarking together on their monumental "first contact"—an epic adventure that brings them all together.
