Kodomo no Omocha

Sixth grader Sana Kurata appears to have an idyllic lifestyle. Her mother is a reasonably successful author, she has a dedicated young assistant to ensure her well-being, and she stars in the popular children's television program Kodomo no Omocha. However, one significant problem disrupts her otherwise perfect world: her classmate Akito Hayama. Since Akito began acting out, the other boys in their class have followed his lead, creating daily chaos that forces the girls and their teacher to struggle constantly just to maintain order and facilitate learning. Refusing to tolerate the disruption any longer, the energetic Sana resolves to uncover the root cause of Akito’s behavior so that classroom normalcy can be restored and her teacher can focus on educating rather than despairing. Yet, as she investigates further, Sana begins to realize that there is far more to Akito than his troublesome exterior suggests.
