Confession

Stranded two miles up the unforgiving slopes of Mount Owari, hikers and friends Asai and Ishikura are caught in a blizzard and lose their way. Injured and convinced he is facing imminent death, Ishikura confesses to murdering a member of their university hiking club five years earlier. However, when Asai discovers shelter and carries them both to safety, he realizes the confession has irrevocably altered their bond—and that the brutal elements may no longer be the deadliest threat they face.
