Yorubenaki Mono

Saiga is the quiet, reserved leader and undisputed strongest fighter among a band of hardened mercenaries. His steady command is thrown off balance with the arrival of Shikon, a brash, flamboyant, and sharp-tongued young man who refuses to blend in with the rest. Beneath his showy exterior, however, Shikon wields prowess on par with Saiga's own—and, much to Saiga's unease, appears to harbor a peculiar fixation on him. Set against a turbulent historical backdrop, this drama charts the fortunes and misfortunes of two samurai-for-hire who take lives for coin—men with nowhere left to belong.
