Ryuusei Sentai Musumet

One day, seven shooting stars fell to Earth. Each was a different color, and each possessed a terrifying power: anyone who took one was transformed into a monster by the embodiment of their desires. Dr. Mishina and Dr. Kishiwada secretly obtained the red, green, and blue stars and began studying them. They eventually learned to control their power with a special helmet called “Musumet.” Though roughly the size of an automobile helmet, Musumet could transform the wearer’s body into the strongest on Earth. It also received signals from the brain, amplifying the wearer’s innate abilities without limit. To harness Musumet’s power, preserve world peace, and protect humanity from disasters caused by the remaining shooting stars, the doctors founded the secret organization MET. However, Dr. Mishina died before he could fulfill his mission. His bereaved daughters—Aoi, Midori, and Kurenai—resolved to become Musumet and carry out their father’s will. Transforming into Musumet changed only their helmets, gloves, and boots, so they had to respond to incidents in their everyday clothes: sometimes school uniforms, gym clothes, or swimsuits, and, in certain situations, with no clothing at all. Despite their extraordinary duties, they were still ordinary teenage girls who dreamed of romantic encounters with boyfriends. Can they protect world peace while pursuing ordinary love?
