Nightmare Maker

Uchida, a high school prodigy, has developed a device intended to induce pleasant dreams. However, every time he tests it on himself, he experiences nothing but nightmares. One day, he finds the school doctor asleep in her office and decides to try the device on her. To his surprise, it works exceptionally well on her, and she expresses interest in purchasing it from him. Encouraged, he begins using it on his classmates, and the device quickly gains popularity, with students lining up to borrow it. As its use spreads, however, concerns begin to surface that those who use the device are finding it increasingly difficult to distinguish their dreams from reality.
