Shitai kara Suru no

Kazuki carries a quiet emptiness he cannot quite name, a persistent sense that something essential is missing from his everyday life. Sadly, no one around him seems capable of sensing that absence—not even Momoko, his sweet and affectionate girlfriend. Everything shifts, however, when his closest childhood friend, Mitsuki, unexpectedly returns to town after eight years away. Meanwhile, Haruka sincerely hopes to build a genuine bond with Reiji, her mother's new fiancé and the man who may one day become her stepfather. She dreams of a warm, trusting relationship with him—until her mother abruptly takes up with another man, severing all ties with Reiji without warning. Faced with that betrayal, Haruka must decide whether she will follow her mother's example and cast him aside as well. Finally, Kakeru idly confides in Azusa, the childhood friend he trusts without reservation, that his days have grown dull and he longs for something truly exciting. Azusa's answer catches him completely off guard, apparently transforming his life forever—set in motion by something as simple as a kiss.
