He constantly struggles with locating talismans and farming Clow Cards, all while researching how to open portals to other worlds and increase his own strength. Witnessing Kazama’s increasingly eccentric behavior, the female protagonist finally voices her frustration. She demands to know why he simply walks away instead of engaging in proper dialogue to resolve misunderstandings, insisting that he should accompany her on commissioned tasks and share special moments during holidays. Her ultimate expectation is for him to eventually confess his feelings during a heartfelt moment so she can accept, but his actions remain entirely contrary to the conventions of the genre.
