Blood+

Saya Otonashi, a seemingly ordinary girl, lives a mundane life with her adoptive family in Okinawa City. However, her life takes a dramatic turn when she is attacked by a creature that feeds on human blood. A mysterious man named Haji appears and fends off the creature, but not before forcing Saya to drink his blood, which allows her to enter a trance and slay the monster. Saya soon learns of the Red Shield organization, founded to defeat the hellish beasts, and must work with Haji to fight these fearsome monsters and uncover the secrets to her past.
