Fushigi Yugi: The Mysterious Play

In ancient China, a young girl named Miaka Yuuki is transported into the world of a mysterious book, "The Universe of the Four Gods", where she becomes the priestess of Suzaku. With the responsibility of summoning Suzaku for three wishes, Miaka embarks on a perilous journey to find her celestial warriors. However, she is not alone in this quest, as her former best friend Yui Hongo has been manipulated into becoming the priestess of the enemy nation's god Seiryuu. As former friends turned enemies, Miaka and Yui begin their long and treacherous struggle to summon their respective gods and achieve their wishes.
