Gate Keepers

In a secret world where an alien invasion threatens the city of Tokyo, the organization A.E.G.I.S. works to protect the public from the Invaders' attacks. Ukiya Shun, a high school student, stumbles upon a battle between a young girl and the Invaders, and joins A.E.G.I.S. to help her and discover his own unique abilities as a Gate Keeper. Those with the Gate Keeper power can tap into a special energy to battle the Invaders, and Ukiya sets out to recruit others with this gift to join him in defending the city. Along the way, he must navigate his complicated feelings about his late father, who he feels he cannot live up to.
