In a world where gods and goddesses coexist with humans, 15-year-old Samatarou lives a seemingly ordinary life as a high school student. However, his reality is far from normal, as he is the son of a god and has a family of powerful deities. His mother, a goddess, and his sisters, potential goddesses, have taken on human form to learn about the customs and habits of the creatures they protect. To facilitate their learning, they have been assigned an angelic guardian, Tenko, who has been a close friend of Samatarou's since childhood. When a new student, Kumiko, transfers to his school, Samatarou becomes smitten with her and decides to win her heart without using his divine powers. As he navigates the complexities of human relationships, Samatarou's decision puts him in trouble, forcing him to confront the challenges of being a god in the human world.
