Eiri Yuki's emotional scars are re-opened when he and his lover, Shuichi, travel to New York to visit the grave of his first love and tormentor, Yuki Kitagawa. However, their visit takes an unexpected turn when they discover that Kitagawa has left behind a young son, Riku. The odd couple takes Riku back to Japan, but their new relationship is soon disrupted when Shuichi receives a kiss from Ryuuichi, a rival band leader, triggering a jealous outburst from Yuki. In a fit of rage, Yuki disappears with Riku, leaving Shuichi to search for them in vain.
