Legend of Galactic Heroes

"Legend of the Galactic Heroes", referred to as "Ginkeiden", is an fictional historical novel by the famous Japanese novelist Tanaka Yoshiki. It tells the story of a future world that colonizes the universe. Because people are unwilling to fulfill their rights and obligations, careerists take the opportunity to turn the entire universe into their own empire. Later, people who were dissatisfied with the imperial system fled, established a republic, and fought against it. Two countries in the Milky Way are at constant war, the Galactic Empire under autocratic rule and the Free Planets Alliance under the republican flag, and the Fezan Dominion, a small city-state that trades between the two warring parties, and the dark forces behind it are ready to move. The war lasted for 150 years. The Battle of Asti, which took place in January 796 of the Universal Calendar/487 of the Imperial Calendar, engraved the names of the two young heroes Reinhard von Lohenkramm and Yang Wen-li on a new page of galactic history.
