Summary

Ezaki Yuuichi, a young patient confined to a hospital with hepatitis A, longs for freedom and adventure. When he meets Rika Akiba, a beautiful but moody and selfish girl also staying in the hospital, he is immediately drawn to her. As they spend more time together, they develop a close bond, sharing the everyday joys and struggles of a blossoming teenage romance. However, their happiness is tempered by the harsh reality of Rika's illness, which casts a dark shadow over their future together.
