Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion As the war between SEELE and NERV reaches its climax, Shinji Ikari is left emotionally comatose, struggling to cope with the loss of a dear friend. Meanwhile, Gendou Ikari's NERV is racing against SEELE to enact their ultimate plan, with Gendou seeking to revert all of humanity into a single primordial being, and SEELE attempting to create a godlike being by fusing their souls into an Evangelion unit. As the battle rages on, Asuka Langley Soryu pilots Evangelion Unit-02 in a desperate last stand against SEELE's overwhelming forces.
