Riya Narukawa, a high school freshman with exceptional violin talent and a deep-seated emotional burden, is struggling to cope with his mental health issues and a split personality. After intentionally injuring his hand to sabotage his music career, he is taken in by Atsushi Ikeda, a kind and generous college student who recognizes the complexities beneath Riya's surface. As they form a bond, Atsushi learns about the struggles Riya faces, including a menacing senior at his school with a threatening interest in him. For Riya, Atsushi becomes a sanctuary, a refuge from the pressures of his music-driven life.
