Takezou, the last remaining member of the school's once thriving Koto club, faces an uncertain future as the new school year begins. With the club on the verge of being disbanded, he must recruit new members to save it from extinction. His luck takes an unexpected turn when a rambunctious new student bursts into the club room, demanding to join. As Takezou navigates the challenges of finding new members and dealing with the club's unorthodox new recruit, he must also contend with the pressures of maintaining a school band in a high school setting, all while confronting his own passion and dedication to the Koto instrument.
