The story centers around three characters - Uesugi Kazuya, his twin older brother Tatsuya, and Asakura Minami. Kazuya is the darling of his town as he's talented, hardworking, and the ace pitcher for his middle school baseball team. Tatsuya, on the other hand, is a hopeless slacker who's been living in the shadow of his more gifted brother. Minami, the beautiful childhood girlfriend, is the object of affection for both brothers, and societal expectations assume she will be Kazuya's perfect partner. However, as Tatsuya grows to realize his own feelings for Minami, he becomes determined to prove himself and make her lifelong dreams come true, leading to a poignant exploration of sibling rivalry, unrequited love, and the complexities of relationships.
