Michiru Kita, a weak-spirited and timid girl, possesses an extraordinary ability to perceive mysterious ring-like markings around the necks of her classmates, Chika Akatsuki and Shito Tachibana. Six months prior, the two boys miraculously survived a devastating accident, and these markings now serve as a warning of impending death.
