Somewhere in the desert lies the world's greatest treasure: the 12 Rings of the Dead, the only source of the mysterious substance Zombie Powder, which can raise the dead and grant eternal life. Gamma Akutabi, a man with a metal arm and a six-foot chainsaw, a cybernetically enhanced master of the legendary martial art, joins forces with C.T. Smith, a super-gunman; Elwood, a knife-slinging teenager; and Wolfgangina, a brilliant and resourceful journalist. Together, they must confront an army of crooks and killers, as well as runaway trains and superpowered madmen, to reach the ultimate prize. However, the most treacherous obstacle may not be their enemies, but the Rings themselves, whose dark power may prove too great for even the most skilled and fearless adventurers to handle.
